San Joaquin Community Hospital's mission is to carry on the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. It is a big responsibility, and one that is enthusiastically embraced by our caregivers, staff members, physicians, our organizational leadership and our Boards.

As the premier provider of healthcare services in Bakersfield and the surrounding cities of Kern County, San Joaquin now operates the hospital, a home health agency, the Buck Owens Wellness Resource Center for diabetes education, and Bariatric Solutions, a weight-loss center.
